Enjoy a popular open-world crime game on your mobile devices with the Android port of Grand Theft Auto 3.

Anyone who is a fan of the gaming industry is sure to know about the Grand Theft Auto franchise. That collection of games has won countless awards in recent years, and you can now play Grand Theft Auto 3 on your mobile devices. This game throws you into the seedy underbelly of Liberty City, and your goal is to have your character Claude work their way through a series of quests as you become one of the most powerful criminals around. While GTA 3 for Android does struggle with a few issues, it is a faithful remake of the original game.

The first thing that you are going to notice about this game is that it is a sizable download. When you initially download the game, you are going to need just over 1GB of free space. If you would like to download updates or save multiple games, then you are going to need even more space on your mobile device. Once the game has been downloaded, you will need to restart your device as well. Even if you have a relatively new smartphone or tablet, it is also going to be a good idea to close out all of the other apps that are open before you try to launch the game.

The game itself begins with your character being sentenced after a botched bank robbery. Claude gets caught because he was given up by his girlfriend and some of his accomplices, and revenge is going to be a major theme in this game. Luckily, your character is able to escape as he is being transported to prison, and that is where the real game is going to start. Throughout the game, you will continue to learn more about why you were betrayed and what you can do to get even.

Grand Theft Auto 3 has quite a bit of content, and this game is going to have you working your way through countless quests. If you ever get bored of the main storyline, then you can simply drive around Liberty City looking for new adventures. Just like many of the other GTA titles, this game has a rich and beautiful world to explore, and there is quite a bit to do. You will be able to collect cars, find new weapons, engage in side quests, or simply battle it out with local law enforcement.

Throughout the game, you will need to avoid confrontations with police if you want to continue moving forward. When the police finally warrant you, there are a few different options to choose from. You can either find a place to lay low and change your appearance or you will need to head to jail and pay a fine. You can also fight the law enforcement officers, but that is only going to increase your fines and bring more heat down on you.

Even though this is one of the best open-world games ever created, some players might have a tough time on smaller screens. The touchscreen controls will take some time to get used to, and you might want to opt for a third-party controller. That being said, this is still an eye-catching and enjoyable game that has carved out its spot as one of the best tiles in the genre.
